Our day-long event will be held indoors and outdoors (as weather allows) at the Honey Bowen Building at the edge of Memorial Park in downtown Statesboro. Heavy weapons and rapier activities are planned, along with feast, dance class, a revel, and a range of other classes.

The site opens at 8:30 am and closes at 9:00 pm. Because this is a recreation department building, the site is strictly dry.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE
FROM NORTH OR SOUTH VIA I-16
From I-16 (Exit 127) Travel Hwy 67 North to Statesboro. Travel through 7 traffic lights (Burkhalter, 301 Bypass, Bermuda Run, Gentilly Rd, Chandler Rd, Herty Drive, and Zetterower). After you pass though the 7th light, travel approximately 1/8 mile.Turn right onto Max Lockwood Drive (Honey Bowen Building is the brown brick building on the right).
FROM NORTH-EAST VIA HWY 80/24
Travel east on Hwy 80. Upon entering Statesboro, travel to North Main Street intersection (2 gas stations, 2 vacant lots on corners). Turn right at this intersection and continue through town. You will pass (on your left) the County Courthouse with the Confederate soldier statue in front. Continue through 2 more stoplights and two smaller streets.Fair Road (Hwy 67) splits off to the left as you cross the railroad tracks. Turn left off Main Street if you planned to enter the restaurant parking lot in front of you, then turn right onto Fair Road and drive past the El Sombrero restaurant.Turn left onto Max Lockwood Drive (Honey Bowen Building is the brown brick building on the right).

ACTIVITIES
Indoor classes will range from European dance to tunic make-and-take patterning and beginner embroidery. More are planned. Come to our solar and share A & S activities.Our heavy weapons and rapier marshals are planning schedules full of surprises – check back regularly for complete details.
Planned Activities for All Guests include: Combat by Rapier & Heavy Weapons (if not authorized, come watch, learn and cheer on your favorite),Gaming for Gentles of All Ages, European Dance Class, A Solar for the Ladies Who Are So Inclined, Classes of Interest in Many Topics (still in development – if you wish to teach, please contact the autocrat), A Delectable Feast by THL Dianora di Cellini and An Evening Revel of Dances Both Courtly & Fun.
